Welcome To:
Hey there! I'm the proud dad behind the scenes of this green adventure, and I'm thrilled to introduce you to my son's world – a place where plants are not just plants; they're the captivating, jaw-snapping wonders of nature. Yes, we're talking about carnivorous plants, and Bubba has turned his bedroom into a sanctuary for these fascinating creatures.
What's This Page All About? We're here to share the awe. This page is our digital greenhouse where you'll get to meet the extraordinary members of our plant family. From the famous Venus Flytrap to the stealthy pitcher plants and the sticky sundews, we've got them all. And guess what? They're up for adoption! My son is here to guide you on how to welcome these unique plants into your home and make them thrive.
But Wait, There's More! It's not just about selling plants. We're on a mission to spread the word about these incredible species.
Why Support Us? By joining our little community, you're not just buying a plant; you're supporting a young botanist's dream. You're helping my son Bubba grow his passion into something tangible. Plus, you're getting a front-row seat to the marvels of nature, right in your living room.
So, take a look around, learn something new, and maybe find a carnivorous friend to take home. Your support means the world to us – it's fueling a young man's passion and helping preserve these amazing species for generations to come.
Details: Get started with your own carnivorous plant. This kit includes a Drosera Capensis “Clone”, a type of sundew plant known for its bug-catching abilities. It comes ready in a test tube filled with zero TDS water for a healthy start.
Why It’s Cool: It eats bugs! This plant uses sticky leaves to trap insects, making it a fascinating and natural way to deal with pests.
What you will receive: You will receive a leaf cutting from a drosera capensis . This leaf will have several nodules growing into brand new planters . Once you start to see fully embodied little sundew clones you can section the leaf at each plantlet. Then raise them from there in waterlogged long fiber sphagnum moss in a container with a lid , be sure the lid can let sunlight or light from your grow light in. Inspect the plantlets every few weeks once they have a good set of roots you can pot them in pure long fiber sphagnum moss or a Pete moss perlite mix. Be sure once potted to let them adjust to dryer humidity slowly but remover the cover you are using for the pot a little bit longer each day. Once your plant matures you can easily repeat these steps and make clones of your own .
Care: Very low maintenance. Needs bright light (but not direct sun) and should be watered with distilled or rainwater.
Shipping: .Comes in a test tube for safe shipping and is easy to transplant to a bigger home when ready.
Perfect For: Anyone looking to dip their toes into carnivorous plants or needing a fun, educational project for the family.
All money from plant sales goes directly to Bubba to continue his carnivorous plant/ botany journey :)!!
