D.O.A PolICY
All colonies or queens that we sell on the site will be backed by a D.O.A replacement or refund at the customers discretion with some specifications. With that being said when temperatures are above 80 you must also purchase a cool pack or packs when making a queen or colony purchase (Found in ant keeping accessories) to be applicable for this guarantee. Also, with all ants we carry in myrmecocystus genus as a whole you must purchase overnight shipping to be qualified for this guarantee, as they are notoriously fragile during shipping. Several overnight shipping options are available. When purchasing overnight shipping an insulated box will be used free of charge as well as free hot or cold pack depending on time of year. If your new colony or queen suffer a major loss during transport, you must contact us with pictures or video within 15 minutes of shipping notification of delivery. When doing this email is the best way to go so both parties have an accurate time stamp. If we do not get back to you immediately expect a response the following day.
Shipping Practices
When shipping you your new colony or queen we will take any and all precautions to make sure they arrive safe and sound. In the past I have always preferred USPS but that is my opinion and mine alone, so with that being said we also offer UPS as well as FedEx. Insulated boxes as well as cold and hot packs can be added to your cart in ant keeping accessories, as stated above these come free with all overnight purchases. Standard shipping will only be carried out Monday through Wednesday and overnight shipping Monday through Thursday to attempt to avoid delays.
